DIY Natural Hair Colour Recipe

We all look for the fountain of youth, to somehow preserve our faces and bodies from the wear and tear of life. To keep the skin tight and hair, well, whatever colour we were born with. We try to hide every wrinkle under makeup and every grey hair by colouring.

But, repeatedly subjecting your hair to chemical colours can lead to adverse effects.  Most colours contain ammonia which can severely alter the pH of your hair causing irreperable damage, even colours without ammonia contain ethanolamine which is considered to affect the hair in a similar manner. [You can read more on how your hair colour is causing permanent damage to your hair.]

So, if you were thinking of colouring your hair but were unsure of the effects of the harsh chemicals on your hair, we have a natural organic hair colour recipe that will colour your hair but not damage it.

These recipes need to be altered depending on the length and thickness of your hair.

Disclaimer: Even though these colours are natural it is always recommended that you do a patch test before application to check for allergies.
